Dr. Ridha, a member of the CCMR, had organized the 2nd Computational Mechanics Forum (2nd CMF) at an international conference, "Computational Mechanics & Numerical Analysis 2006 (CMNA2006)." The conference was held on May 12-14, 2006 at Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The theme of the conference was "Building Strong Research Networks in the Asian Region.
